I’m a little late with posting these but we have been all over the place recently! Mike and I celebrated our … 14? … I don’t even know….. year anniversary August and we recently received some stunning photos back from Kara Miller Photography from a shoot we participated in with her- I’ll share the full set at a later time since its being sent out for publication. Work this time of year is always busy between wedding season still going on (thanks, California weather!) engagement sessions left and right, and new couples booking for their 2017 weddings. Calvin is definitely getting a case of the toddler feels, but most times I just feel bad for his little mind at not being able to process times of over stimulation, frustration, and a lack of ability to effectively communicate all the time. Patience….. the other 80% of the time when he’s not losing it, he has intense giggle fits, the most adorable squeaky bird-like language, and gives the BEST running hug you have every had. This month he has been obsessed with cars, trains, and squirrels… because those things go together. He is fascinated by colors and has learned to say and recognize just about every color. When he’s happy, he curls up in a little ball in your arms. If he’s feeling silly, he lets his body go limp and laughs when you can’t put him down due to his lack of bones. He is a champion at climbing out of his crib and can do it in about 20 seconds. And … he has the BEST “hooray!” known to man.
