Loving swim lessons with daddy at his work…we played with the underwater camera last time…A continued obsession with this giant bear…. he throws him everywhere and snuggles him hard. An intense love for cars, specifically the wheels, and saying that mama is driving every single car he sees. Playdates with little buddies. Climbing out of his crib instead of napping…. We still get one 2 hour nap but its been getting a little weird getting him down…. There’s also been an odd obsession with this bubble machine that looks like a robot…. he calls it “MAN” and I think he believes it is conspiring against him. After 15 minutes of pointing at it and repeating “man…man… man…” with the judgiest of faces, I had to hide it…. He has also had much for focus for independent play and is enjoying manipulatives that he can put into/out of things (these colored sorting bears pictured above are perfect for him)

I have been trying to build my wardrobe rental website for photographers (@wardrobe_rentals on insta ) , which is the slowest going ever. Sourcing items + webdesign is taking so long. Also, I had a few editorial collaborative shoots recently with some pretties from BHLDN (check out those earrings!!). Why is it that when I feel things are the craziest, I think its a good idea to start multiple new BIG projects??

I’m trying to figure out new ways to balance running my business which is about full time and with being with Calvin full time- I am so lucky that I am able to do both- it is an incredible amount of work, more than I ever thought. I don’t know how everything still gets done on time, or WHY I am constantly starting new projects, but it is definitely time to streamline things a little so I can appreciate every moment in this adorable stage of toddlerdom. I am thankful that I am able to do what I love both personally and professionally, that I have the flexibility of being my own boss and working around the little guy’s schedule. There’s nothing more valuable than being able to spend all day with him- despite the challenges- and not miss any new silly development in his funny little world.
